Siren Domestic Short Hair Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Stockton, California

Meet Siren, this sweet boy was found in a business parking lot meowing so loud his foster mom could not ignore it, he was so scared, dirty and so little at about 5 weeks old and was rescued under Second Chance Kitty. He was named Siren because he was crying so loudly he wouldnt be ignored, and sounded like a siren! He's so sweet and craves your attention. He doesn't like being alone, so hell need a home where someone is home often unless he has a companion. His favorite thing to do is snuggling in your lap, your lap is his safe place. He's got a silly spunky side and he absolutely loves playing fetch and bringing you toys. He loves the kitty toys that are soft little round fuzzy balls or small mice that he can carry in his mouth. He's very playful and energetic and loves climbing his cat tree/post. Since he doesn't like being alone he will follow you often and even stare at you when he has lost his toy hoping you'll find it and throw it for him. He doesn't like being picked up for too long but sure does like his scratches and pets on the head. He knows how to use a cat/dog door very well since his foster mom has a catio enclosure and will need to be watched closely if his potential adopters have a dog door. Hed need to be watched very closely at first to not run outdoors unless of course he's lucky enough to have a catio there too. He enjoys his once a day Temptations kitty treats, he does great with other well behaved cats and cat friendly dogs, he may take a little longer to warm up to his new environment and will need some time to adapt as hes very attached to foster mom. Hes best friends with a foster sister named McKensie whos also black and white and about the same age. They adore one another, if you have room for a pair, although not mandatory. He can't wait to find his forever home and a lap to keep warm this winter.

All Second Chance Kitty cats eat a quality dry food with low or no grain and are STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY. Studies have proven cats live longer, healthier lives and on average require less money spent at veterinarian offices when they are kept indoor only, so many predators out there, both animal and human.
